Investigating pedestrian-based environmental quality in Andisheh Alley, Dezful City, with the 15-minute city approach

Abstract Background and Objective: With the rapid pace of urbanization and emerging challenges such as air pollution, traffic congestion, and declining quality of life, walkability has gained attention as a sustainable strategy in urban planning. This study aims to assess the environmental quality of the Andisheh neighborhood in Dezful, Iran, based on walkability indicators and within the framework of the 15-minute city approach.
Methodology: The research is applied and follows a descriptive-analytical method. Seven key indicators were identified: land-use mix, environmental safety, public transportation, sidewalk design, intersection improvements, parking management, and bicycle lane development. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to determine the relative weight of each criterion, while a SWOT analysis was employed to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats affecting walkability in the area.
Findings and Conclusion: According to the AHP results, "land-use mix" (0.348) and "environmental safety" (0.222) were the most critical indicators for enhancing walkability. The SWOT analysis highlighted significant opportunities such as increased property values and access to public services, along with threats including resistance to car-use restrictions and insufficient safety measures for pedestrians, especially at night. Despite existing urban challenges, the Andisheh neighborhood demonstrates strong potential for implementing the 15-minute city model due to its spatial characteristics and community structure. However, the success of this approach relies on improving pedestrian infrastructure, strengthening public transportation, enhancing safety, and raising public awareness. This research provides a practical framework for promoting walkable environments and sustainable urban living in similar neighborhoods.
Exploratory factor analysis of healthy housing from the perspective of citizens for teleworking (Case study: Dezful city)

Abstract Background and Objective: Teleworking and urbanization with the theme of home coriander is one of the newest challenges facing the cities of the world in the 21st century. According to the uncertainty index Covid 19 disease, the largest modern urbanization event in recent years. Therefore, here is housing as a spatial crystallization and physical embodiment of human residential activity in these conditions and occurs. On the one hand, the quality of housing, in terms of the impact it has on health, safety and good living conditions, has a direct and significant effect on the well-being of the people. On the other hand, telecommuting continues to operate in the smallest urban unit (housing) using digital tools and cyberspace.
Methodology: The present study uses descriptive, field and analytical research methods in the most critical example of urban infrastructure, namely the staff of ABFA Dezful by combining three issues of telecommuting caused by Corona, housing and the virtual world, it has investigated the issue. It should be noted that the findings were done in the form of a questionnaire with the entire statistical population of this organization after confirmation of validity and reliability.
Results and findings: To analyze the findings, exploratory factor analysis technique, weight homogeneity measurement and Grafer, Visio, Excel, GIS and SPSS software were used. Research findings have shown Teleworking of employees only as a job (22.42), number of rooms in housing for Corona teleworking (13.83), private space (comfort) housing for Corona teleworking (11/13), internet status in housing for Corona teleworking (9/16), access and quality of mobile phones in housing for corona telework (9/10), TV efficiency in housing for corona telework (7/16), interference in the use of equipment in housing for corona telework (8/8) 5) The most and the most influential variables for housing health it has been a virus for staff telecommuting in coronary conditions.
Measurement and Optimization of Tourist Routes with VIKOR and AHP Techniques (Case Study of the Old Texture of Dezful)

Abstract Urban tourism is a term that describes various tourism activities in which the city is the main destination and desired location. Today, the tourism industry as one of the top industries is growing and developing rapidly. Despite the rich resources and tourism opportunities in Iran, little attention is paid to the tourism industry. Since sustainable development is referred to as a steady stream, economic, cultural and social changes to increase the level of environmental well-being of society, which seeks unity in economic, socio-cultural and environmental issues. Sustainable development is a development that can meet the needs of the present generation without destroying or damaging the needs and wants of future generations. The historical context of Dezful is one of the most important parts of the city's identity and its origin follows information from climatic and cultural structures. Urban areas, which in the past were prominent places for production, have now become centers of consumption. For many cities, this shift in attitude leads to an emphasis on the tourism industry as the engine of economic growth and, consequently, to the social and physical revitalization of the old urban fabric. The old texture of Dezful, by including the old market of the city and including historical elements, not only did not help the sustainable economy of the city, but as an inefficient part of the city away from sustainable development. In fact, sustainable urban tourism is a new approach in revitalizing these spaces, so in the nature of the present research is developmental-applied and in terms of research method (descriptive-analytical-library-field) through the VIKOR and AHP techniques to study and recognize the elements of tourism. The 28 neighborhoods of Dezful texture were studied and based on the level of desirability, dissatisfaction and VIKOR index; we reached the final ranking for the old texture neighborhoods of Dezful. The purpose of this ranking is to better and more accurately identify the study area to measure and optimize the route of tourism.
