Modeling the role of geographic factors in the distribution of gastrointestinal cancer in Lorestan province

Read More Background and Aim: Cancer is one of the most common causes of death worldwide. Always the role of natural and geographical factors in the manner and manner of distribution and its effects on disease centers and the role of natural processes in fundamental changes and humans as well as human-related diseases, even in places where these effects are clearly evident in the death or destruction of habitats and humans themselves; It has a pale appearance.Methods: This research is based on field studies in terms of the nature of the applied goal and in terms of the descriptive-analytical research method. The statistical population of this research includes all patients with gastrointestinal cancer who were diagnosed between 2014-2017 and were registered in the Sima Cancer System (Electronic Management Integration System) and were permanently residing in Lorestan province. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, indicators related to the role of geographical factors in the spread of digestive tract cancer were extracted (average annual rainfall, vegetation cover, average annual temperature, average sunny hours, and climatic zones).In order to investigate the role of geographic factors in the classification and distribution of these indicators, one-sample t-tests, Pearson's correlation, and Friedman's test were used. In the following, ArcGIS software was used to explain the model through geographic weighted regression of use and the level and status of these effects.Findings and Conclusion: The results showed that the most important factor influencing the variable of cancer distribution was the vegetation component with a coefficient of 0.91%, which explains the influence situation well. Also, the results of the effect of geographical factors were such that Khorramabad and Borujerd cities had the highest effect, Kouhdasht, Delfan, Aliguderz, and Durood cities had a moderate effect, and Selah, Poldekhtar, and Azna cities had the least effect from geographical factors.

On the other hand, the unequal forms and distribution of resources and opportunities to the detriment of most individuals and social groups living in cities have led the critical theorists represent the demands of the citizens based on the concept of ‘right to city” against policy makers and decision makers of the city issues. The purpose of this article is to understand the concept of the right to the city in the field of policy and planning of urban issues and transfer it to urban experts and try to implement this idea in the field of urban policy and planning. In the present article, an attempt has been made to recognize and analyze the relationship between the two concepts of the right to the city and urban policy, using the theoretical framework presented by Lefebvre on the concept of the right to the city and the researchers' approach to urban policy. The research is descriptive-analytical based on qualitative method. Methods of data collection include selection of documents, thematic analysis of the views of experts and thinkers on the selected topic. According to the findings of the present study, urban policy-making is the most important area for bargaining about the ways of distributing benefits and opportunities in cities by urban stakeholders, which is the reason why is why the need for citizens to be present in decision-making and Urban policymaking layers. The neglect of institutional mechanisms, capacity building, transparency, accountability, the use of participatory budgeting and participatory planning, has made democratic decision-making difficult and relatively impossible for as the most serious stakeholder’s citizens in urban life. Strengthening civic and social institutions and creating mechanisms for monitoring and citizen participation in the decision-making process regarding the selection and implementation of metropolitan projects, along with the use of participatory budgeting in how the city invests capital, are among the items that: In that can practically lead to practice, it can lead to the realization of the right to the city in the administration of cities.

Read More Urban tourism is a term that describes various tourism activities in which the city is the main destination and desired location. Today, the tourism industry as one of the top industries is growing and developing rapidly. Despite the rich resources and tourism opportunities in Iran, little attention is paid to the tourism industry. Since sustainable development is referred to as a steady stream, economic, cultural and social changes to increase the level of environmental well-being of society, which seeks unity in economic, socio-cultural and environmental issues. Sustainable development is a development that can meet the needs of the present generation without destroying or damaging the needs and wants of future generations. The historical context of Dezful is one of the most important parts of the city's identity and its origin follows information from climatic and cultural structures. Urban areas, which in the past were prominent places for production, have now become centers of consumption. For many cities, this shift in attitude leads to an emphasis on the tourism industry as the engine of economic growth and, consequently, to the social and physical revitalization of the old urban fabric. The old texture of Dezful, by including the old market of the city and including historical elements, not only did not help the sustainable economy of the city, but as an inefficient part of the city away from sustainable development. In fact, sustainable urban tourism is a new approach in revitalizing these spaces, so in the nature of the present research is developmental-applied and in terms of research method (descriptive-analytical-library-field) through the VIKOR and AHP techniques to study and recognize the elements of tourism. The 28 neighborhoods of Dezful texture were studied and based on the level of desirability, dissatisfaction and VIKOR index; we reached the final ranking for the old texture neighborhoods of Dezful. The purpose of this ranking is to better and more accurately identify the study area to measure and optimize the route of tourism.
