Abstract
Background and Objective:Environmental sustainability is one of the United Nations' key programs for achieving sustainable urban development. Understanding the complex relationship between the urban ecosystem and the natural environment is crucial for solving the environmental issues of cities. Given their ecological foundation, the creation of ecological parks, or eco-parks, plays a fundamental role in sustainable urban development, as they aim to support the spiritual needs of citizens, protect the lives of other species, and minimize human manipulation of nature. The present study aims to identify the influential factors of the Shah Manzar eco-park on the urban environment of Hafshejan.Methodology: The research method is applied and based on library and documentary studies, field inspections, and interviews. The statistical sample consists of 380 randomly selected individuals. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS software, t-test practice, and regression analysis. Results and findings:The evaluation results indicate that the Shah Manzar eco-park has the greatest impact on the environmental index, with a mean of 3.20, and the least impact on the economic services index, with a mean of 1.80, on the environment of Hafshejan city. Furthermore, regression analysis revealed that the environmental index, with a value of 0.029, has the highest impact among the indices on the environment and sustainability of Hafshejan city.
